BASiC Semiconductor Completed Series B Funding

On December 31, 2020, BASiC Semiconductor completed Series B funding of hundreds of millions of yuan RMB, led by Wingtech Technology, and followed by Shenzhen Investment Control Capital, Minhe Capital, Yitang Changhou Capital, Sihai New Materials and other institutions, as well as the original shareholder Lihe Capital.

To fulfill the company's strategic development plan, the current round of financing for BASiC Semiconductor has engaged strategic investors with important value in the R&D, manufacturing, and market of third-generation semiconductors. The fund raised in this round of financing will be used to enhance the R&D of core technologies, penetration into key markets, and construction of the manufacturing base for SiC devices, especially the R&D and mass production of automotive-grade SiC power modules.
